Job Description

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as preventative maintenance on the property.
• Diagnoses the source or cause of defects or problems and makes repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Performs the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move‑ins, including pre‑move‑out inspection, punch list creation, vendor and contractor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and inspection of completed work.
• Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property’s maintenance department, tracking inventory used, returning unused items, and notifying the maintenance supervisor of re‑ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and other paperwork accurately and promptly so that service requests can be tracked.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost‑cutting and expense‑control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, minimizing waste, and using tools and equipment correctly.
• Complies with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies by attending routine safety meetings, completing required OSHA and safety training, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly.
• Demonstrates customer‑service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services, and completing assigned work orders with efficiency and urgency.

Thursday – Monday (Tuesday & Wednesday Off)

$27.00 – $30.00

• Corporate Positions:
