Multi Unit Facilities Repair Technician

Hogsalt is seeking a Full Time Multi-Unit Facilities Repair Technician to support our current properties and future development projects.

Qualifications:

• Must be available to work a minimum of 28 hours up to 40 hours a week - shifts are Sunday-Thursday.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a multi-unit facilities maintenance position.
• Excellent operational knowledge of kitchen facilities and equipment.
• Experience with new builds and renovations.
• Must be able to provide reliable vehicle.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred, but not required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



Ability to perform repairs in the following areas (but not limited to):

• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Kitchen equipment and appliances
• Light millwork
• Painting
• Doors
• Tile work

Responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance programs to support the following:

• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Refrigeration
• Kitchen hot line equipment
• Grease trap cleaning
• Kitchen exhaust hood cleaning and mechanicals, and any other areas that can be maintained to prolong the life of the equipment and prevent issues before they arise.
• Collaborates with other facilities personnel on various projects.
• Responds to maintenance requests from stores in a timely fashion.
• Performs regular property inspections.
• Advises store managers on a variety of technical engineering issues.
• Available on a 24-hour basis in order to address building emergencies during on call shifts.
• Reports to Facilities Director, Facilities Manager and other members of the Director team.
