Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

United Lounges – O’Hare Airport – United Airlines ORD Terminal, Chicago, IL 60666.

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Overnight shift: 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. Days and weeks may vary; weekend and holiday work may be required.

Fixed Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to its correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces and follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Previous deep cleaning, trash removal, and housekeeping experience required.
