Housekeeper​/Janitor - Senior Living Community

We are seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor to join our team at Ravenswood Senior Living. The primary end result of this position is to ensure that our community is clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents. As a Housekeeper/Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the community's common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and dining areas, and for ensuring that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience working in a senior living community
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners

• Clean and maintain the community's common areas, including hallways, restrooms, and dining areas
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel
• Assist with resident move‑ins and move‑outs as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to our residents and their families

Attention to detail, time management, communication, interpersonal skills, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
