Role Description The Janitorial role is a full‑time, on-site position based in Chicago, IL. The team member will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal. Daily tasks include cleaning of common areas in multi properties located on the southside area, replenishing supplies, and following established safety and cleaning protocols.

The role also involves basic housekeeping duties such as wiping surfaces, organizing supplies, and reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors. At times, the Janitorial team member may interact with building occupants or visitors to respond to simple requests and ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Janitorial Services and Housekeeping, including routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintaining orderly environments.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to interact courteously with occupants, respond to cleaning requests, and support a positive facility experience.
• Candidates should possess Training related skills where applicable, such as learning new procedures quickly and supporting service standards or facility guidelines.
• Candidates should possess reliability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety and cleaning protocols consistently.
• Candidates should possess the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights during a full shift, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance roles is beneficial but not always required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
