, every team member plays an important role in creating a welcoming, safe, and comfortable home for our residents. As an EVS/Housekeeper
, you'll help ensure our community shines by maintaining clean, sanitary, and inviting spaces throughout our campus.

This hybrid position flexes between Environmental Services (EVS) and Housekeeping responsibilities based on daily operational needs, staffing coverage, and scheduled services. From caring for resident living spaces to maintaining beautiful common areas and supporting community events, your work directly enhances the quality of life for those we serve.

• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of common areas, administrative offices, public restrooms, health services neighborhoods, and other assigned spaces.
• Clean floors, walls, windows, ceilings, vents, bathrooms, and fixtures using approved equipment and cleaning products.
• Perform floor care, including carpet shampooing, buffing, and other maintenance as assigned.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the community and transport materials to designated disposal areas.
• Assist with room setup and breakdown for community events, meetings, and resident activities.
• Support departmental operations by moving furniture, removing trash, and operating trash compactors as needed.
• Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages promptly to the supervisor.
• Clean resident apartments and patient rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, spot cleaning, and scrubbing.
• Make beds, strip and remake beds, and assist with linen removal on Health Services floors and The Harbors.
• Wash and handle linens when assigned.
• Restock soap, paper towels, and other supplies in resident and restroom areas.
• Maintain organized, clean, and fully stocked housekeeping carts.
• Properly dispose of trash and recycling following community procedures.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to complete daily assignments while providing excellent service to residents.

• Flex between EVS and Housekeeping assignments based on operational needs.
• Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and resident-focused attitude at all times.

• Follow all policies outlined in The Admiral at the Lake's Code of Conduct and Compliance Program.
• Participate in annual compliance education and acknowledge the Code of Conduct.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Follow all infection prevention and workplace safety procedures.

Preferred

• Previous Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience.
• Experience operating floor care equipment such as buffers, carpet extractors, or shampooers.

Experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to approximately 35 pounds.
• Bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
• Occasionally work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safely work around cleaning chemicals and, at times, infectious materials or bodily fluids using proper protective equipment.
