Warehouse Maintenance Technician (HVAC / Electrical Background Preferred)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience

Overtime: Possible based on business needs

Position Summary

Pickens Kane is seeking a reliable Warehouse Maintenance Technician with experience in HVAC, electrical troubleshooting, and general building maintenance.

This role supports the daily repair and upkeep of a large warehouse and operations facility. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, dependable, safety‑focused, and willing to learn from our experienced Facilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general warehouse and building maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and assist with HVAC repairs
  • Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Change light fixtures, bulbs, ballasts, drivers, switches, and related lighting components
  • Safely operate or be willing to learn to operate a scissor lift
  • Replace and repair ceiling tiles
  • Identify, contain, and help manage water leaks
  • Assist with plumbing, pumps, drains, fixtures, and basic water‑related repairs
  • Maintain and repair dock doors, overhead doors, dock plates, warehouse heaters, fans, and facility equipment
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks on building systems and warehouse equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests throughout the facility
  • Identify larger repair issues and report them to management
  • Coordinate with outside vendors when needed
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and organized
  • Follow all company safety procedures and facility rules
  • Assist with emergency repairs and occasional overtime when needed
Preferred Experience
  • Prior warehouse, industrial, commercial, or facilities maintenance experience
  • HVAC troubleshooting experience
  • Electric
