Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Your goal will be to ensure that the site manufacturing & support activities occur uninterrupted, without any facility shortages or related issues. You will achieve 100% compliance with local legal regulations, quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems and standards. You are responsible for the management and maintenance of site facilities, buildings, and equipment (hardware & software).

• Works cross‑functionally to develop and implement a strategic facilities roadmap and annual operating plan that provides a competitive advantage to Mondelēz. Partners with internal & external stakeholders and service providers to define and meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and engagement goals. Establishes strong governance to review & control operational performance and continuous improvement plans to deliver best‑in‑class results.
• Leads and is accountable for the Building Maintenance program and Facilities maintenance program capabilities, including maintenance repairs and overall operations. Ensures adherence to the business continuity plan and that manufacturing standards and government regulations are understood by all employees and service providers at the site, and are regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
• Provides leadership and coaching to the Facilities team toward implementation of IL6S‑Integrated Lean 6‑Sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and technical mastery of maintenance and operation teams; PM (Progressive Maintenance) pillar, CBM (condition‑based monitoring), visual controls & tools management, lubrication management & calibration of equipment, etc.
• Role models values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring, and skill development across the plant technical/engineering team to engage with modern practices. Maintains a clear people succession and resource plan for the asset & technology population, identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain, and develop critical talent.
• Interfaces with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities, and deliver the company objectives and goals.

• Strong operational & manufacturing leadership experience in the CPG industry with expertise in TPM, 5S, LEAN, 6‑Sigma tools and concepts, and Safety & GMP standards.
• Engineered with a strong financial & business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment. Expertise in PM, spare parts management, SAP PM module, and basics of technology & engineering automation.
• Excellent verbal & written communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a team‑based environment. Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving, and team building.

• Equipment Maintenance and Reliability:
  Ensures reliability, availability, and performance of equipment and machinery. Develops and implements maintenance strategies, conducts reliability analyses, and optimizes preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
  Conducts RCAs to identify underlying factors contributing to equipment failures or performance issues, implementing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall reliability.
• Predictive Maintenance Technologies:
  Utilizes technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasonic testing to proactively monitor equipment health and intervene before failures occur.
• Data Analysis and Decision‑Making:
  Uses data‑driven decision‑making to prioritize maintenance tasks, optimize resource allocation, and improve equipment reliability. Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques for interpreting maintenance data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.
• Continuous Improvement Culture:
