Maintenance Supervisor - St. Christina - Mount Greenwood - Vic. V

The Maintenance Supervisor istina is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of parish buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for parishioners, students, staff, and visitors while supervising the Maintenance Assistant and coordinating facilities-related operations.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial and maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Maintain upkeep of parish facilities regularly to identify needs, safety hazards, and code compliance issues.
• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance programs for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; order materials as needed within budget guidelines.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and school policies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs alongside the Director of Operations.
• Support parish events by ensuring facilities are properly set up and operational.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance or facilities management, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Full-time position; may require early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends.
• Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
• Physical activity including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Annualized salary range: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00.
