Groundskeeper

Job Description:

Maintain the common areas neat and tidy, which include but is not limited to the driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacle areas, exterior hallways, and any public areas. This role supports the broader portfolio and requires the flexibility to travel between sites as needed to support strategic and operational priorities. The shift will be second shift with weekends required.

• Communicates with supervisor regarding the status of work and any potential issues
• Schedules, monitors and performs work orders as needed
• Ensures landscaping supplies are in stock and orders supplies, as directed
• Assists office staff as needed with posting notices on resident doors
• Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired
• Ensures excellent customer service to prospective residents and tenants, and promotes a quality living experience for all residents
• General building preventive maintenance tasks
• Provides excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promotes a quality living experience for all residents
  
  Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired
• Communicates with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the property
• Common area clean up to include power washing buildings, cleaning pool area, laundry rooms, public restrooms and trash bins
• Participates in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention
• Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience using hand or power tools or equipment preferred

Salary Range: $21 - $23 per hour
