UPS is looking for a Conveyor VFD Specialist at our CACH facility near Chicago. This focused technical role involves programming, troubleshooting, and replacing variable frequency drives across our massive conveyor infrastructure. You will configure drive parameters, diagnose fault codes, replace drives, and optimize speed profiles for different conveyor sections.
Requirements- 3+ years of VFD programming and troubleshooting experience
- Expertise with Allen-Bradley Power Flex, Yaskawa, or ABB drives
- Understanding of motor control theory and drive parameter relationships
- Ability to use drive configuration software and oscilloscopes
- Electrical safety qualifications for working on powered equipment
