Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance
HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MAINTENANCE PLANNER/BUYER IN CRYSTAL LAKE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Planner/Buyer to join our team in Crystal Lake, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, managing spare parts inventory, and purchasing materials and services needed to support equipment and facility reliability. The ideal candidate has experience with maintenance planning, purchasing, inventory management, and CMMS/ERP systems, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Pay,Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $55,000 annually
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Full-Time
- Located in Crystal Lake, Illinois
- Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance and create detailed work orders in the CMMS
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with Operations, track work order completion, and minimize production downtime
- Manage spare parts inventory, establish stock levels, order materials, expedite deliveries, and maintain inventory accuracy
- Obtain quotes, evaluate suppliers, track purchase orders, resolve delivery issues, and maintain vendor relationships
- Support maintenance projects, equipment repairs, installations, and facility improvements by coordinating contractors, materials, permits, and schedules
- Maintain accurate maintenance and purchasing records, generate CMMS/ERP reports and KPIs, and assist with budgeting, cost tracking, invoices, and reconciliation
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and equipment repair
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to mentor junior technicians and work cross-functionally
- CMMS experience preferred
- Technical degree or certifications such as CMRT or NFPA 70E are a plus.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, off-shifts, and emergency call-ins as needed
