Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually. Eligible to receive time-and-a-half pay for overtime hours and weekend shifts worked.
Join Our Maintenance Leadership TeamWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance Leadership Team. This critical role supports safe, efficient, and reliable production operations by leading maintenance activities during the assigned shift and ensuring optimal equipment performance across our manufacturing facility.
Position SummaryThe 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations during the assigned shift. This role coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervises maintenance technicians, responds to equipment issues, and ensures maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently to support production objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians during the 2nd shift.
- Assign and prioritize maintenance work orders across all shifts.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair plant processing and packaging equipment.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain plant control systems (PLCs).
- Manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate equipment purchases.
- Help Manage contractors.
- Train, coach, develop, and evaluate maintenance team members.
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation, including performance coaching and corrective action reports.
- Partner with Human Resources and management to address employee relations issues.
- Participate in interviews and hiring activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Stay current with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Proven electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience within maintenance operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule, including weekends as needed.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules based on business and operational requirements.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, controls, and automated systems.
- Previous experience leading maintenance teams in a high-volume production environment.
