Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This role requires you to be constantly on your feet and maintain a positive attitude so customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, and hazardous material handling.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to spills and operate floor scrubbers to maintain a clean environment for members and associates.
• Manage chemical supplies, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and reordering when supplies are low.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary and reporting unsafe situations to management.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00* (actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location).
• Additional premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
