Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

We’re seeking a full‑time Housekeeper whose skills will help keep our beautiful senior living community clean, attractive, comfortable and safe. This opportunity is for the following schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm;
Saturday and Sunday are required as needed.

• Perform a variety of tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety of resident rooms and common areas.
• Sanitize, vacuum, dust, remove trash and maintain a clean, stocked housekeeping cart and closet.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with housekeeping management.
• Operate various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
• Change bed linens according to established standards.
• Recognize and promptly report maintenance problems and unsafe acts or conditions.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are low and demonstrate responsibility for conservation of supplies, chemicals, equipment and utilities.
• Identify areas for improvement, propose possible solutions, and participate in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process.

Required:

• Ability to read and follow instructions to complete routine tasks and communicate in a friendly, responsive manner.

Preferred:

• High school or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience.

$19.75–$21.00 per hour.
