Position Summary:
The HVAC Technician helps install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that control temperature and air quality in buildings. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with basic knowledge in mechanics, problem-solving, and working with tools and equipment.
Main
Job Duties:
Assist with the installation and maintenance of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
* Help inspect and repair fans, motors, pumps, filters, and thermostats.
* Learn to use tools, gauges, and meters to test and adjust equipment.
* Support senior technicians with routine maintenance, such as cleaning coils and replacing filters.
* Help monitor building systems like chillers, boilers, and cooling towers.
* Follow safety rules and keep work areas clean and organized.
* Record maintenance activities and report problems to supervisors.

* Enter school dude for building repairs and closeout when complete
* General maintenance duties and responsibilities.
* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the administration.
* Skills and Abilities:
* Interest in working with your hands and learning mechanical systems.
* Ability to follow directions and work safely.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic math and problem-solving ability.
* Dependable and willing to learn new skills.
Education and Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED (required).
* Technical or trade school training in HVAC (preferred but not required).
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record (may be required).
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors or outdoors in various weather.
