Job Summary:

The Washroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and well-stocked washroom facilities. This role ensures a safe, hygienic, and pleasant environment for staff, students, and visitors while monitoring supplies and reporting maintenance issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, floors, and other washroom surfaces.

* Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other hygiene items.

* Monitor washroom conditions regularly and report any maintenance or plumbing issues.

* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and organized manner.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

* Provide courteous assistance to staff, students, and visitors when needed.

* Keep records of cleaning schedules and supplies inventory.

* Dispose of waste and maintain proper waste management procedures.

* Enter school dude for building repairs and closeout when complete

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the administration.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

* Previous experience in custodial or sanitation work is an asset.

* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.

* Ability to work independently and efficiently.

* Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift cleaning supplies regularly.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
