Overview
Ecolab, the global leader of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets, is seeking a Logistics Associate II
. This role requires advanced experience in warehouse operations, SAP transactions, and the receiving process. The Logistics Associate II will play a key role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant receipt of inbound materials while supporting overall warehouse flow.
- Perform goods receipt transactions in SAP with a high degree of accuracy
- Identify discrepancies in quantity, condition, or documentation and communicate these issues promptly with Supervisor / Lead
- Create, print, and apply accurate labels for received materials following internal standards
- Stage received materials in designated warehouse locations and update SAP inventory accordingly
- Support material flow by coordinating with production, quality, customer service, and other internal teams
- Offload inbound trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts
- Verify incoming shipments by comparing packing lists, bills of lading, and supplier documentation against physical product
- Assist with outbound logistics as needed, including picking, packing, and palletizing
- Load trailers with packed boxes, pallets, and equipment
- Follow all warehouse and safety procedures, including 5S standards
- Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Plant location:
Glenwood, IL - Work week and shift:
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, OT eligible - Compensation package offered: $28.00 / hour
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience using SAP for goods receipt and inventory transactions
- Forklift operating experience
- No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
- This position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50 lbs
- Post-secondary degree
- 4 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in receiving, inventory control, or quality inspection
$28.00 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
