Qualifications
Education: High school education or equivalent.
Experience: Six months of janitorial/housekeeping/custodial experience is required. Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Must have the necessary skills to vacuum, wet/dry vacuum, carpet extraction, shampooing, stripping and waxing of floors.
Job DescriptionProvide custodial services for Harper College facilities.
Responsibilities- Cleans and maintains the College facilities, buildings, offices, classrooms, restrooms and common areas.
- Performs custodial duties to include vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, dust mopping, wet mopping floors, furniture dusting, cleaning and replenishing restroom supplies, emptying and cleaning waste receptacles, cleaning whiteboards, cleaning windows and walls, cleaning elevators and stairwells, and maintaining custodial supplies and equipment.

- Extension ladders
Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate strength using equipment/machinery, pull, grasp, and climb. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
