Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Job Summary

Full and part‑time Housekeeper positions are available xius Medical Center, 1555 Barrington Road, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169. This role maintains cleanliness for hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, performing duties such as bedmaking, linen replenishment, room cleaning, and floor care. Same‑day pay is available through the Even app.

• Provide quality customer service with one‑on‑one attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash sanitarily.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers and wipe glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities per prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and housekeeping requests.
• Respond to spills, broken glass, and other housekeeping problems.
• Contribute to team efforts; exhibit professionalism with customers and fellow associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full‑time and part‑time schedules, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends; hours vary. Exact details will be provided during the interview process.

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain cleanliness standards.
