Maintenance Technician I
This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.
Location:
nd Ave East Suite 200, Sumner, Washington, 98390. Shift &
Schedule:
Nights 1 Shift | Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Wednesdays, 5:00 PM - 5:15 AM.
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP's high standards in safety and quality.
What you will do:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on K cup manufacturing equipment.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, servo drives, motors.
- Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring technical expertise.
- Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.
- Repair and maintain items necessary to maintain equipment in optimum operating condition.
- Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs.
- Assist other maintenance technicians as required.
- Will assist in the training and coaching others on best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures.
- Maintain safe, clean, & well-organized work areas.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
Total Rewards:
Pay starting at $35.34 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $37.14 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary. Average Shift Premium: $1.94/hr Benefits (Effective Day One, Where Applicable):

Requirements:
- Manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent technical experience.
- Ability to read and understand repair instructions, prints, flowchart, and schematics.
- Experience using e-mail, component maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts lists.
- Packaging experience is preferred.

Ability to lift, push, pull, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, & stoop Ability to repetitively lift, twist, stretch, & reach overhead Ability to stand during entire shift minimum of 12 hours Work in compliance with OSHA regulations
