CVS Health, a Fortune 4 company, has an opportunity to welcome a new member to the Pharmacy Maintenance Team in CHICAGO, IL. As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the pharmacy’s automated systems. This is a great role for someone who enjoys an organized and clean work environment, focusing on routine inspections of our specialized machines.

The person in this role will also be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. Your efforts will impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications that are dispensed by this facility.

Starting Pay for this role is $36.00/hr - $42 an hour.

Candidates hired for the Automation Mechanic role are provided tools by CVS Health upon training. No requirement to provide your own.

• Troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines and systems to ensure optimal performance, such as troubleshooting electromechanical control systems and supporting the PLC based control systems.
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees.
• Participate in training programs to stat updated on new technologies and procedures.

Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday 6am-2:30pm. Saturday 7:30am-4pm.
