District 27 is looking for a highly-organized, professional, and driven individual to serve as a chief custodian in an elementary school district. Northbrook School District 27 is a professional learning community made up of approximately 1300 students across three school buildings educating students to succeed in a changing world.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certificate of good health signed by a licensed physician
• General knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
• A minimum of two years of work related to plant operation and maintenance. Supervisory experience is preferred.

The starting salary range for this position is between $75,000-$95,000 annually, with the higher rates for candidates with previous experience working in a public school. This is a 12-month position with a 260 working day calendar. Benefits include 16 sick days, 3 personal days, access to shared cost medical and dental plans, term life insurance, and long term disability coverage.

Ten vacation days are also included for years 1-4, building up to 20 days in year ten. Option money in the amount of $800 annually is also included to help cover medical premiums.
