The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of The Elaine, a premier property in Northbrook, Illinois. This position ensures that all common areas, vacant units, and facilities are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing to a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. The House Keeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces, while also managing inventory of cleaning supplies.

Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential, as the House Keeper will directly impact the reputation and satisfaction of the property. Ultimately, this role is vital in creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that enhances the living experience for all occupants.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize common areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and elevators.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in common areas.
• Clean and sanitize the fitness center, and other shared facilities.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, including handrails, doorknobs, and light switches.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces as needed.
• Cleaning vacant apartments in preparation for new residents.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the property management team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
