District 27 is looking for a highly‑organized, professional, and driven individual to serve as a day custodian in an elementary school district. Northbrook School District 27 is a professional learning community made up of approximately 1,300 students across three school buildings educating students to succeed in a changing world.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certificate of good health signed by a licensed physician
• Preferred candidates will have at least two years of school custodial experience.

The starting pay rate range for this position is $16.50 – $22.00 per hour, with the higher rates for candidates with previous experience working in a public school. This is a 12‑month position with a 260‑working‑day calendar. Benefits include 16 sick days, 3 personal days, shared cost medical and dental plans, term life insurance, long‑term disability coverage, ten vacation days for years 1‑4 building up to 20 days in year ten, and an annual option money of $800 to help cover medical premiums.
