Pay:$30.00 per hour + .50 Shift Differential. Ability to earn up to $32 per hour quickly!

Shift:5am - 5pm Saturday, Sunday & Monday

JOB OVERVIEW: O ur Maintenance Mechanic Performs routine, emergency and preventive maintenance work on office and plant equipment, machines and building facilities.

Job Duties:

• Assist in maintaining plant security
• Maintain equipment and tools
• Dispose of waste materials, empty containers and piece drums accordingly
• Calibrate equipment as needed/required
• Keep work areas clean
• Can perform up to 60% of procedures within department

• Ability to read and write and do simple arithmetic
• Working knowledge of mechanics
• Ability to read blue prints and sketches
• Knowledge of pipe fitting, electrical wiring and general mechanics
• Must be capable of lifting up to 55 lbs. and stand on feet for long periods of time
• Must be familiar and thoroughly experienced in all facets of maintenance:
  • Mechanical:
    Pumps (positive displacement and centrifugal), drives (gearbox, belt, chain, hydraulic, couplings, motor-electric, motors-air, bearings, shafts, nuts, bolts, taps and dies.
  • Electrical:
    High voltage 460 volt 3 phase, motor controls, low voltage (120V power and control wiring), AC and DC systems. Computer controlled systems.
  • Utilities:
    Piping (water, air and steam) Boilers - understand Steam condensate system - tracing, coils, traps and pumps. Air Compressor system - including filters, regulators, dryers and lubricators. HVAC - air handling, blowers, dust collectors.
  • Vehicles:
    Lift trucks - electric, battery and hydraulics.
