Porter
Position summary:
The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to delivery and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior: empty garbage cans, clean floors, dust countertops and work areas.
- Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, and properly store tools and equipment.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
- Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
- Perform exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
- Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for additional repairs.
- High School diploma or GED (preferred).
- Automotive experience (preferred).
- Ability to multitask.
- Clear close vision required.
- Minimum age 18.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Customer service skills.
- Positive attitude.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Willingness to learn.
- Pulling, pushing, carrying, walking 5+ minutes, sitting/standing 5+ minutes.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl 1+ time.
- Operate a motor vehicle.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts.
Pay: $15 - $18 per hour.
