Porter

Position summary:

The Porter complements quality repairs by cleaning customer vehicles prior to delivery and maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior: empty garbage cans, clean floors, dust countertops and work areas.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, and properly store tools and equipment.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
• Perform exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for additional repairs.

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Automotive experience (preferred).
• Ability to multitask.
• Clear close vision required.
• Minimum age 18.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer service skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Trustworthy and reliable.
• Willingness to learn.

• Pulling, pushing, carrying, walking 5+ minutes, sitting/standing 5+ minutes.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl 1+ time.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts.

Pay: $15 - $18 per hour.
