- Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on checklists and as directed by the facility manager or supervisor.
- Walk the garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems.
- Sweep and clean around entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, booths, offices, and restrooms.
- Empty all trash cans in the garage, booth, and office.
- Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed to keep surfaces neat and clean.
- Replace burned‑out bulbs.
- Apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit repair or maintenance requests.
- Check conditions of safety items, such as gate arms, to ensure clearance bars are secure.
- Check ticket spitters and gates daily for proper operation, ticket supply, and appearance.
- Provide ticket and record gate counts to the manager.
- Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Maintain a garage/lot sweep sheet.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment (weed eater, lawnmower, etc.) to repair or construct items as applicable.
- Shovel, plow, or blow snow from entrance or exit ramps and designated areas using appropriate equipment.
- Report any unknown, observed, or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences in a timely manner.
- Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and the Five Customer Service Behaviors for successful interactions.
- Assist customers within the facility or as directed by the manager or supervisor.
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisory aid.
- Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties (cashier, attendant, etc.) as needed.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and remain in uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Evidence of vaccination against COVID‑19 is required, subject to valid medical or religious accommodation.
Qualification Requirements:
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education; may require facility maintenance, electrical, painting experience or skills training depending on the assignment.
License Requirement: A valid state‑issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record may be required if the employee is expected to drive a company vehicle.
Availability to Work:
Special shift requirements (e.g., third shift, weekends) may vary based on hiring needs.

Physical Demands:
The employee regularly uses hands and fingers, sits, reaches with arms, stands or walks for long periods (up to 8 hours), climbs, balances, stoops, knels, and crouches. Requires twisting, turning, stretching, and bending frequently. Must lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly and perform in extreme weather conditions.
Salary Range: $18.00 per hour
