Position Overview

We are seeking committed, ethical, and visionary leaders to serve on our Board of Directors. Board Members will provide strategic guidance, governance oversight, and mission stewardship while helping expand the organization’s impact and sustainability.

This is a leadership role designed for individuals who are passionate about community development, growth, and responsible governance. Board stipends are funded through organizational donations and are contingent upon fundraising performance and financial stability.
Position Requirements
Tech School, 3+ Years work experience
Primary Responsibilities

Governance & Oversight
  • Provide strategic direction aligned with the organization’s mission
  • Approve policies, budgets, and major organizational decisions
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Monitor financial accountability and transparency
Strategic Leadership
  • Assist in long-term planning and organizational growth
  • Support executive leadership through advisement and evaluation
  • Participate in goal-setting and performance review processes
  • Help identify risks and opportunities
Fundraising & Advocacy
  • Support fundraising initiatives and donor engagement
  • Act as ambassadors of the organization in the community
  • Leverage personal and professional networks for partnerships
  • Assist with sponsorship development and resource acquisition
Committee Participation
  • Serve on at least one board committee (Finance, Governance, Development, etc.)
  • Attend and actively participate in board meetings
  • Review materials and reports in advance of meetings
Qualifications
  • Prior leadership, executive, nonprofit, or governance experience preferred
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity
  • Financial literacy and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to commit time and active participation
  • Passion for the organization’s mission
  • Strong communication and decision-making abilities
Compensation Structure

Board members receive a stipend funded through charitable donations and organizational revenue. Compensation may be performance-based and contingent upon fundraising benchmarks and board participation requirements.
