Since its unveiling in 1989, the Orland Park Civic Center continues to be a popular location to host events. The Village of Orland Park has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Overnight Maintenance Employee. This position is responsible for room setups, tear downs, and custodial maintenance following booked events at the Orland Park Civic Center.

Responsibilities including setting up and taking down tables and chairs and/or other items as noted on event plan layouts. This position also provides custodial maintenance following events, including general facility cleanup and restroom maintenance.

The position requires a reliable, mature individual with the ability to work independently. The ability to continually lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to push and pull up to five hundred pounds on wheeled carts is required. Previous related custodial/maintenance experience is preferred.

Hours:

MUST be available to work overnights and weekends. Weekday overnight availability needed, generally from 10:30pm to 12:30am. Must be available FRI/SAT/SUN from 11:00pm to 3:00am. Weekend afternoon availability from 12:00pm to 5:00pm is also preferred.

Pay rate is $59.31 per event setup. Number of shifts vary based on bookings, typically 3 shifts per week.
