Description:
Night Foreman
12-month hourly employee
Days of Work:
Monday to Friday
Times of Shift: 3:00 pm to 12:00 am
- Responsible for the security of the building and site.
- To insure that custodial equipment is kept in safe, clean and operable condition.
- Responsible for the inspection of custodial areas, equipment, and supply inventories.
- Supervise second shift set-ups for school activities, rentals, and continuing education.
- Assists with snow removal operations.
- Participates in custodial evaluations.
- Maintains a nightly log of building activities.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Building and Grounds Manager.
- Possess strong leadership ability.
- Possess mechanical knowledge and skill to operate equipment used in floor and carpet maintenance.
- Ability to plan and supervise building custodial staff and personnel.
- Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals and safe application practices.
- Possess safety habits, skills and insight while performing duties.
- Familiar with swimming pool operation.
- Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks.
Is under the supervision of the Building and Grounds Manager.
Terms of Employment:Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the District 211 Operations Maintenance Group.
