Responsibilities- 1. Lawn Maintenance and Landscape Care Maintain campus grounds through regular mowing, trimming, and edging. Plant, trim and remove trees and shrubs as needed. Monitor flowers, trees, and shrubs for signs of disease and ensure proper treatment. Water and weed planting beds; pick up litter and overall landscape appearance.
- 2. Snow and Ice Removal Clear sidewalks and walkways of snow and ice. Load, unload, and distribute 50‑lb salt bags to ensure safe pedestrian access. Assist with parking lot plowing operations as needed.
- 3. General Light Maintenance Perform routine maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, installing ceiling tiles, changing filters and replacing damaged floor tiles. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to appropriate personnel.
- 4. Event Setup and Support Prepare campus facilities and grounds for college events by setting up tables and chairs, placing trash receptacles, and posting signage. Maintain event areas by cleaning before and after events.
- 5. Custodial Services and Facility Sanitation Perform routine and detailed cleaning of campus facilities to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and fixtures. Restock restroom supplies such as paper products and soap. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all types of flooring, including tile and carpet. Clean and sanitize high‑touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, light switches, desks, and counters.
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas. Clean interior glass, windows, and entryways. - 6. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Operations or Building Maintenance Supervisor.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three (3) or more years experience in related field.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.
-4:30 p.m. Hours may be adjusted. May require occasional on‑call.
$23.21 – $25.00 per hour, plus exceptional benefits. Hourly.
