Pay$23‑$25 per hour
Schedule8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (hours may vary), Monday to Friday;
On‑call weekends as needed.
- Reliable transportation to get to work.
- 1+ year of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or residential construction.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Familiarity with basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, follow directions, and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Perform routine property inspections proactively to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Complete resident service requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
- Maintain property grounds, removing trash, leaves, branches, and other debris to keep common areas clean and attractive.
- Support the completion of unit turnovers and make‑readies, including painting, repairs, and cleaning as needed.
- Assist in preventative maintenance efforts to extend the life of property systems and equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Deliver notices and communications to residents as directed by management.
- Participate in a non‑call schedule for after‑hours maintenance emergencies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
This position will require you to work on‑site at the property in Park Forest.
