Maintenance Worker, Groundskeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain turf, landscaped areas, and flower beds throughout the City
• Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, aerators, chainsaws, spray equipment, and other grounds maintenance equipment
• Safely operate heavy and light construction equipment, machinery, and tools
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on assigned equipment
• Assist with snow and ice control operations
• Support street, water, sewer, hydrant, and other Public Works maintenance activities as needed
• Perform general road and infrastructure maintenance, including asphalt and concrete repairs, vegetation control, and storm sewer maintenance
• Respond to after-hours and on-call needs as assigned

• Experience in construction, public works, or related fields.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safety.
