Apartment Maintenance Technician - Richton Park

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Richton Park community. The role requires a hands‑on professional who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

• Full-time position
• Pay: $21–$22 per hour
• Hours:
  
  8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (hours may vary)
• On‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies

• Reliable transportation
• 1+ year of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or residential construction
• Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
• Basic repair skills: plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance maintenance
• Ability to work independently, follow directions, and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds

• Perform routine property inspections and address maintenance issues proactively
• Complete resident service requests and work orders promptly and professionally
• Maintain property grounds, removing trash, leaves, branches, and debris from common areas
• Support unit turnovers and make‑reads, including painting, repairs, and cleaning as needed
• Assist with preventative maintenance to extend the life of property systems and equipment
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• Deliver notices and communications to residents as directed by management
• Participate in the on‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies
• Perform additional duties as assigned
