Field Service Technician

Overview

A leading EDM machine manufacturer is looking for a CNC Field Service Engineer.

• Install, service and provide basic training on all our machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot both electronic and mechanical problems on site using proper testing equipment such as multimeter or oscilloscope.
• Transport by car or airplane to customer and dealer facilities.
• Conduct on‑site intake of customer complaints regarding equipment malfunction and service issues.
• Communicate technical analysis and determinations with customers and internal management.
• Document all work performed in a legible and technically sound manner.
• Submit service and expense reports for reimbursement.

• Strong background in Electrical Engineering or industrial electronic repair experience.
• Possibility for new graduates (training provided).
• Experience repairing Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, materials, tooling, and end mills, if possible.
• Excellent customer service skills, with integrity and ethics in all interactions.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and able to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Technical curiosity and ability to diagnose and solve production issues; detail-oriented for completion in a manufacturing environment.

Daily allowance for travel: $46 if travel is more than 100 miles one way. Gas allowance.
