Job Summary
3rd Shift Custodian – 12‑month hourly employee – Days of Work:
Monday to Friday – Times of Shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
- Responsible for cleaning areas assigned by the Night Foreman.
- Replace fluorescent and incandescent lamps in assigned areas.
- Maintain security in housekeeping areas.
- Responsible for building setups for rentals, school activities, and continuing education.
- Assist with snow removal operations.
- Maintain fixed‑asset records, including addition, replacement, and disposal inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Third Shift Supervisor and/or Building and Grounds Manager and the Director of Purchasing & Facilities.
- Be familiar with all types of equipment used in the maintenance of tile floors and carpet.
- Possess safety habits, skills, and insight while performing custodial work.
- Knowledgeable in all areas of housekeeping.
- Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks.
Under the supervision of the Foreman, the Building and Grounds Manager, and the Director of Purchasing and Facilities.
