Description
Kitchen Custodian – 10‑month salary employee (School Days Only)
Days of Work:
Monday to Friday. Times of Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen as necessary.
- Assists with delivery and storage of cafeteria supplies.
- Rotates frozen and refrigerated stock as required.
- Removes kitchen and cafeteria refuse.
- Delivers prepared projects within the building.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Building and Grounds Manager.
- Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment.
- Possess safety habits, skills, and insight while performing assigned duties.
- Possess inventory and stock rotation skills.
- Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks, lifting up to 30 lbs. with assistance.
Under the supervision of the Building and Grounds Manager.
Terms of Employment10 months. Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the District 211 Operations Maintenance Group.
