Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner and global leader in automation systems and solutions, is seeking a Reliability Specialist to join its fast‑paced, customer‑oriented team. The successful candidate will apply and implement predictive technologies to execute reliability service contracts timely and accurately.

• Provide analysis and concise reports with recommendations for repairs and urgency for identified problems.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of data acquisition techniques such as spectral, time‑waveform, and Peak Vue analysis.
• Set up vibration routes for routine monitoring on diverse plant equipment and maintain the associated database.
• Maintain advanced knowledge and experience in balancing rotating equipment and laser alignment on complex machine trains.
• Plan, schedule, and manage travel, appointments, and activities independently.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Make difficult decisions independently in ambiguous situations.
• Provide training to reliability technicians.
• Travel to customer sites throughout Novaspect's territory, branch offices, and other required locations.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with multiple predictive technologies preferred.
• Experience with Asset Management/Reliability programs and associated software & service programs preferred.
• CAT II Vibration Analysis Certification or equivalent certifications required.
• Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
• Detailed knowledge of general mechanical fundamentals such as fits and tolerances.
• Strong understanding of electro‑mechanical fundamentals.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional team player with a solution focus.
• Ability to comply with customer site safety regulations.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to grasp and manipulate small objects/tools.
• Ability to work with hand tools.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to stoop, crawl, and crouch while working on equipment on hands and knees.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to work in a loud industrial environment.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment with exposed moving parts.
• Ability to climb stairs carrying up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to climb a 20 ft+ ladder with equipment.
• Ability to drive an average of 3–4 hours at a time; ability to drive 8 hours as needed.
• Ability to work in high and cold temperature environments for extended hours.
• Ability to maintain a clean face for respirator use when required.
• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $105,000

Bonus potential: 5%
