Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The position will physically build the sets and any large scale stage items (i.e., special furniture). This position will ensure that they build the sets, working in conjunction with the set designer and any available crew, move the set to the Drollinger, safely install it there, and then, after the final performance, oversee the strike to remove the set, and either properly store it back in Foley or properly dispose of it (often a mixture of both).
In the support of Shakespear on the Bluff, this position will build, install, and then remove and demo the set.

- Oversee post-performance strike and removal
- Store or dispose of sets per policy

Physical DemandsConstantly required to sit, feel, use finger movement, speak clearly, hear conversation, see near and far. Frequently required to stand and walk. Occasionally required to lift, carry and push up to 25 lbs., stoop, kneel, reach high and low, and use depth perception.

CompensationStaff Per-Diem (Fixed Term) (Seasonal) Salary range $25.87 - $32.31 per hour. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Please note that this position may not be eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
