Master of Arts in Teaching:
The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree at the University of North Georgia (UNG) is a 39-semester-hour program for individuals who possess a degree other than education, do not have a teaching certificate, and wish to become certified teachers.
MAT degrees are available in the following content areas:
- Art Education (P-12)
- Health and Physical Education (P-12)
- Middle Grades Certification with Concentration(s) in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Science
