Stillwater College of Allied Health is a locally-owned medical training school that has been offering CNA classes and other allied health programs for more than 6 years. CNA Training:
Stillwater Institute offers 5-8 weeks CNA classes with flexible schedules to be able to accommodate working students.
As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will be exposed to daily routing care of the patients in the hospitals, residents in a long term care facilities and private clients in their home. Duties include:
- Personal care
- Feeding
- Bed making
- Grooming
- Transferring
- Providing emotional and social support

Medical Assistant:
Stillwater College offers training to become Medical Assistant in 9 months. Classes are offered in the morning and evening to fit any busy schedule. Graduate medical assistants can do the following:
- Scheduling and managing appointments and inpatient admissions
- Checking patients in and processing documents
- Performing daily office operations such as billing and coding
- Dealing with insurance companies
- Performing inventory of supplies and equipment
- Preparing purchase orders
Phlebotomy Technician
Program duration = 2-3 months (depending on the schedule), including practice at our lab. Classes are offered twice per week with morning and evening schedules available. Responsibilities of a phlebotomist include:
- Collecting timed specimens
- Match all laboratory requisition forms and specimen tubes; properly complete laboratory accession record
- Following all laboratory safety rules
- Ordering and processing incoming supplies
- Maintaining phlebotomy area clean and stocked with supplies
- Keeping blood drawing trays neat, and clean
EKG Technician:
This is an 8-week course, available mornings and evenings. An EKG technician is responsible for assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac or heart,and peripheral vascular or blood vessel ailments.
Job duties include scheduling appointments, reviewing physicians’ interpretations of patient files, and monitoring patient’s heart rates.
