Our program provides 104 hours of instruction, including 24 hours of clinical experience. Class size limited to 10, and students will gain preparation and experience in basic nursing assistant procedures and skill, patient care, safety and emergency care. We are fully approved by the Colorado State Board Of Nursing and all of our students are taught by an experienced and friendly staff of professional nurses.
Professionally-taught Nurse Aide Training & CNA Exam Preparation:
Upon completion, students will be eligible to sit for the state competency evaluation for certification as a nurse aide (CNA). As well as be qualified to seek employment in a variety of settings including: Hospitals, Long-Term Care, Hospice, Home Care, and more.

The School of Health, Wellness & Public Safety (HWPS) at Central New Mexico Community College is committed to providing quality nursing and healthcare training programs from our seven campuses across Albuquerque, NM.
