Adirondack Learning Academy - Accredited Homeschool Online Programs:
Study online from the comfort of your own home in Hawaii! Adirondack Learning Academy (ALA) delivers NCAA-approved online homeschooling programs for K-12 students in Connecticut and throughout the U.S. High school seniors, on successful completion of the program, are awarded a homeschool diploma. At ALA, we recognize that each child is an individual and that all children need to feel successful in order to succeed. Whether your child needs to be challenged, or needs extra help in a particular area, we can customize our instruction to meet their specific needs. We welcome students with special needs (Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD..) and / or learning disabilities.
Online K-12 Homeschool Programs:
For kindergarten, elementary school, middle school & high school students.
ALA provides a complete online learning experience developed by top educators. Our curriculum includes core courses, electives, assessment applications, and administrative tools.
Curriculum features include:
• Core courses, electives & and career-technical courses
• Homeschool diploma awarded on successful completion of the program
• College entrance assistance
• Advanced Placement (AP) classes
• Individualized curriculum with each student assigned a personal learning coach
• Programs for students with special needs
Acellus Curriculum:We use Acellus Curriculum, a complete online learning experience developed by top educators. It includes core courses, elective courses, and career-technical courses, and allows for comprehensive, customized programs for each student.
In addition, we offer a diverse range of electives, administrative tools, and assessment applications to facilitate learning and teaching in an online environment.
Programs for Students with Special Needs:
We welcome students with special needs, and these students will have the opportunity to receive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy through our school.
Graduation Requirements:
Students need to complete 23.5 credits of academic and elective courses to earn a homeschool diploma.
High school seniors must achieve passing grades in all their subjects if they are to be awarded a diploma from ALA.
