The Spanish school in Manuel Antonio , Costa Rica was started in 1992 and is today recognized as one of the best Spanish language schools in Costa Rica. In addition to offering excellent Spanish language programs, you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location within Costa Rica.Programs / Courses:Group Classes: 4 lessons per day in class sizes of no more than 6 individuals. Average class size ranges from 4-8 students. During four lessons sessions, students participate actively in a small group environment. Each student is assured attention to their individual academic needs. If total immersion becomes a difficulty, we offer supplemental instruction in English once a week in order to clarify any doubts.

Loved learning at Acadmie D'Amore! The school has beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. I spent the mornings studying Spanish while watching the boats float by. I spent my afternoons in the ocean or drinking and eating at places with ocean views. The weather was great and the school always had good ideas for fun weekend trips. I rappelled down the waterfalls in Monteverde, hiked in the Cloud Rainforest, went 4-wheeling up a volcano, and scuba'ed and hiked with the monkeys right down the road in Manuel Antonio. I saw a zillion monkeys and birds and even a sloth or 2.
The teachers are all great a Academie D'Amore, and the classes were small. I learned so much! I lived with a local family and learned as much at home as I did at school. I didn't speak any Spanish when I arrived, but after 10 weeks I was fluent. There were students there of all ages - from an 8 year old to a retired couple. It was a great experience and I hope to go back soon!
