Reviews of Academia de Espanol D'Amore

Loved learning at Acadmie D'Amore! The school has beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. I spent the mornings studying Spanish while watching the boats float by. I spent my afternoons in the ocean or drinking and eating at places with ocean views. The weather was great and the school always had good ideas for fun weekend trips. I rappelled down the waterfalls in Monteverde, hiked in the Cloud Rainforest, went 4-wheeling up a volcano, and scuba'ed and hiked with the monkeys right down the road in Manuel Antonio. I saw a zillion monkeys and birds and even a sloth or 2.

The teachers are all great a Academie D'Amore, and the classes were small. I learned so much! I lived with a local family and learned as much at home as I did at school. I didn't speak any Spanish when I arrived, but after 10 weeks I was fluent. There were students there of all ages - from an 8 year old to a retired couple. It was a great experience and I hope to go back soon!
