In addition to offering excellent Spanish language programs, you will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location within Costa Rica. The school itself sits on the side of a mountain overlooking the Manuel Antonio Beach Park Area and the Pacific. Classrooms are comfortable, and are situated both inside the building and outside on the comfortable patio. This school is the perfect option for those who want to get away from to the beaches and natural parks of Costa Rica, while at the same time learning Spanish.
When students arrive at the Spanish school in Manuel Antonio, they are given an oral proficiency interview to determine their level. Based on this interview, they are placed tentatively in one of six levels. Once placed in a class, students will experience the schools' total immersion methodology. Classes are conducted completely in Spanish. The school uses custom designed curriculum and text materials.
Depending on the time of year, Spanish classes are held during the mornings or afternoons. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 6 students to assure attention to an individuals needs. For those students that experience difficulty with the total immersion concept, the Spanish school offers supplemental instruction in English once a week to clarify any doubts or problems. One day a week, students participate in a field trip that focuses on a social or environmental issues in the Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica area or the town of Quepos.

Centro Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI), is a Spanish immersion language institution in Costa Rica in Central America. CPI is the only Spanish immersion school in Costa Rica with campuses in three diverse regions of the country, with the same quality service: CPI Monteverde, CPI Heredia and CPI Flamingo. CPI Monteverde is located in the rural region of Monteverde, which is a 3-hour bus ride from San José. CPI Heredia is located in San Joaquín de Flores, a suburb of Heredia and is just a 30-minute drive from San José. Based in Port Hadlock, Washington, Experience Mission is a Christian mission organization offering a 6 month immersion program in the Caribbean region that starts by serving in one of South Atlanta's toughest neighborhoods before volunteering abroad in Haiti, Jamaica and Costa Rica. Experience Mission also offers a mission program in Africa, that starts in the Native American Navajo Nation of northeastern Arizona, before travelling to South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana. We currently do not provide Spanish classes as part of our program in Costa Rica.You will experience everything from the bustling inner city to the remotest parts of the rain-forest, building authentic relationships and partnering with local leaders to create sustainable change.
Our mission programs can be divided into three areas of focus: Volunteer Mobilization, Leadership Development, and Community Empowerment. These three distinct focuses are inextricably bound and share the common purpose of spreading the love of Christ to a world in need.
Christian Mission Program (6 months):
