When students arrive at the Spanish school in Manuel Antonio, they are given an oral proficiency interview to determine their level. Based on this interview, they are placed tentatively in one of six levels. Once placed in a class, students will experience the schools' total immersion methodology. Classes are conducted completely in Spanish. The school uses custom designed curriculum and text materials.

Depending on the time of year, Spanish classes are held during the mornings or afternoons. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 6 students to assure attention to an individuals needs. For those students that experience difficulty with the total immersion concept, the Spanish school offers supplemental instruction in English once a week to clarify any doubts or problems. One day a week, students participate in a field trip that focuses on a social or environmental issues in the Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica area or the town of Quepos.

At our institution, students get the most out of their classes, no matter what their level. Placement exams are given at the beginning of each session to assist us in placing students in the appropriate class so that time is well spent on learning. Our institution also helps coordinate trips so that you can travel outside of Quepos and enjoy the beaches, rain forests, wildlife and cultural aspects of Costa Rica.

The fact that our groups are small and our teachers are culturally well-prepared allowing our Spanish group courses to be suitable for people from all walks of life, such as: medical personnel-nurses, doctors, missionaries, Spanish teachers, military officers, flight attendants, university students, professors, airline personnel, businessmen, paralegal personnel and lawyers. A good command of Spanish plays an important role in these daily routines. Our school is well equipped with books and audiovisual material to help our teachers tailor their lessons according to the specific needs of each student in these specialized fields of Spanish.
