Candor International School in Bangalore, Karnataka provides primary, middle and high school education from Preparatory 1 to Grade 12. At Candor School, all three sections - Primary School, Middle School and High School offers international curricula to its students. Candor believes that every individual is unique, can learn, and has potential that can be tapped, nurtured and developed to make a positive difference. We offer a rolling admission throughout the year. As the first ‘Green’ school in India, Candor International School meets the requirements of the Indian Green Building council.

The school was founded by IT entrepreneurs from the US and the UK and a Board of Trustees who are leaders in their respective fields. The founding team was brought together by their desire to give back to the society, by providing the kind of education that is affordable yet international in content and approach.

Primary, Middle & High School Education Programmes (Preparatory 1 to Grade 12):
Candor International School offers the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme (PYP) for Prep to Grade 5, the Cambridge University’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Grades 6 to 10, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Grades 11 and 12.

Candor International School began its first academic year in August 2011. The school provides the following classes:

* Kindergarten – K1 and K2 (PYP)
* Primary School – Grade I to V (PYP)
* Middle School – Grade VI to VIII (IGCSE- check points)

The Candor International School academic year consists of two semesters of two quarters each starting in August.

The teaching staff are highly qualified and experienced in their fields; and are life-long learners committed to making the learning experience for every student a rewarding one. They will be involved in monthly in-house Professional Development workshops on pedagogical aspects that will enrich their classroom management and learning facilitation.

The teaching staff will also be sent to teacher workshops in each of their different subject areas so they are current in their delivery of the programme. Our ASCD membership will provide teaching staff with the professional enrichment provided by the resources made available as members.
