Courses / Programs
St. John’s International School (SJIS), located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, provides pre-university programs including the GCE (A) Levels Program. We plan to introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program in 2011. SJIS presents itself as a melting pot of students from different cultures and backgrounds with the De La Salle Brothers’ traditional hallmark of excellence in education. Their presence prevails in 82 countries worldwide and a global alumni of over 1 million. The study environment is excellent as it is located on the 'Pineapple Hill' or Bukit Nanas as it is called, amongst the lush green surroundings adjacent to the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve.
Members of faculty are chosen for top academic qualification and methodic competency. They are selected to have penchant of scholastic care of students. - GCE (A) Levels Program: The GCE syllabus offered at SJIS is divided into Advanced (AS) and Advanced Two (A2) levels, each contributing 50% towards the final A-Levels grade.

SJIS plans to include the IB Diploma in 2011 which is an academically challenging and balanced program of education that prepares students, aged 16 to 19.

KL International Kids Club, Kuala Lumpur

KL International Kids Club is an international kindergarten in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We offer kindergarten programs for children from 12 months to 6 years old. We also offer after-school child care and a range of after-school programs which include English & Chinese clubs, homework assistance as well as cooking, computer, arts or dance classes.We seek to develop in each child a sound base of experiences, a strong sense of self-esteem, and an excitement and curiosity for learning. Believing that children in the early education stages develop meaning through concrete encounters and experiences, the school promotes an instructional program that encourages and provides for active exploration of the child's environment and allows for guided discovery through structured and unstructured play.
Academic skills are taught in both large and small group lessons; as much as possible, instruction accommodates individual developmental needs, abilities and interests. Cumulative portfolios of the child's work, teacher observations, and periodic parent conferences are the means by which progress and development are assessed.

Breakthru Enrichment Station

Breakthru Enrichment Station (BEST) is located in Setapak in the north-eastern part of Kuala Lumpur, and welcomes children who learn differently and those who encounter learning challenges. First group is mainly for children up to age 8 years who require foundational skills development to prepare them for learning or mainstream education, and the second group is for children who have started learning but struggle greatly, usually aged from 7 years and above.We work in partnership with parents, family members, caregivers and teachers to promote play and the joy of learning. Children that came to us include those with autism, dyslexia, global development delay, ADHD, down syndrome, aspergers and those facing challenges in adapting to main-stream education system.
We provide individually designed programs and IEPs according to the needs of the child. Children are supported in order to overcome their learning challenges, and develop their foundation skills using various Movement Based Techniques including Brain Gym, Rhythmic Movement, BAVX and more.
We also provide training courses for parents and individuals, and are a licensed centre for Brain Gym and Touch for Health courses.
