Dr. Montessori’s methods follow and inspire the natural enthusiasm children have for learning.

(KMS) is taking the lead in developing a progressive curriculum where art, music, dance, Spanish, language, outdoor education and creative writing are core to an academic program that is project based and specific to each of our learners.
Our unique curriculum takes inspiration from Mel Levine, Slingerland, Reggio Emilia Project Based Learning and similar techniques. Our program places a strong emphasis on social, academic and emotional development. We encourage children to take responsibility for themselves and others; and allow them freedom to develop a strong sense of self. Students benefit from a variety of dance opportunities including instruction from professional dance troups in the San Francisco area.
KMS owns a camp outside of Yosemite where it offers outdoor education instruction to students. Scholarships are available.

Milestones Preschool provides a play based bilingual (English and Spanish) preschool program in the beautiful neighborhood of Lower Ladera in Inglewood, Los Angeles, near Westchester and Culver City. At Milestones Preschool, we take extra care in making children feel safe, comfortable and loved. We provide children a rich learning environment to explore and discover.
Our goal for our graduates is to enter kindergarten as self confident, effective problem solvers. Our philosophy is influenced by the teachings of Reggio, a philosophy that believes that children thrive when given time to ask questions, test theories and explore topics that interest them. We teach reading, writing, math, science and social development through play.
Teachers take immense care in planning the curriculum around the child’s interest zone. With our bilingual program, we speak, sing songs, do rhymes, finger plays count and introduce letters in both Spanish and English.
Small Fry Dance Club offers a preschool dance program in Foster City in San Mateo County, CA. Our dance program is designed to give young students a survey style class that covers basics in tap, ballet, jazz, creative movement, and yoga. Our goal is to help each student find a place for dance in their life. No matter what the degree of each child's dance goals, discovering movement should be nothing but empowering. Through dance, Small Fry teaches children to be creative, physically fit, flexible, confident, and artistic.
Small Fry Dance Club was founded by Jana Chapeton in early 2007. We have had 1,000 plus students come through the program at over 20 different schools. We have also been nominated as "Best Dance School" by Best of The Bay TV (2009).
All of our teachers have extensive education and experience teaching dance, performance, and motor skills to preschool and school age students. Twice a year, Small Fry dancers have the chance to participate in our company performances. Our shows are a great chance for the dancers to gain experience performing, while sharing their progress in weekly dance class with friends and family.
